Entain, the FTSE-100 gambling business that controls Ladbrokes, has started preparing PartyPoker for sale to thwart activist investors.
Sky News reported on March 12 that as part of its efforts to restore its core activities, Entain has recruited bankers to negotiate a sale of PartyPoker. Company sources have revealed that Oakvale Capital advisers are allegedly in the process of negotiating the sale of the online poker firm. Prices ranging from £150 million to $192 million have been bandied about for the sale.
It is a good move from Entain. PartyPoker is a non-core for the company anyway.

Any news about this? Last I heard was DraftKings and MGM were interested. Its just quite odd to see PartyPoker being sold and not have it being fought over- I do remember the days when PartyPoker was THE most known online poker product.
Thanks to my bookie pay per head I'm working from home, and can travel anytime (let me know where to!)
There are still no updates. It used to be the most popular poker site. However, legal troubles led to a decline in traffic. Also, they need to upgrade their software because it is too laggy.

@samyoung PartyPoker is such a classic poker site. I think everyone who ever played poker online at some point tried them out at least once.
Getting my daily dose of Sports Interaction and Betting News, and I'm good to go!
@ckinginsider My first attempt at being an online poker genius was with Party Poker! Those were some fun days. I hope that whoever buys them can help bring it back to its former glory.
I like reading and contributing to sportsbook reviews, and other things that interest me, like books and films. Love the challenge of betting especially when it comes to basketball and football.
It looks like Entain changed its mind and will not sell PartyPoker anymore.
