The Kansspelautoriteit, the Netherlands’ gambling regulator, has once again warned incompliant operators.

This time the violators are the National Postcode Lottery (Nationale Postcode Loterij) and the Friends Lottery (Vriendenloterij), which were found guilty of offering games they didn’t have licenses for.

This is good because it reinforces the need for compliance.

What's next after the warning?

I wish someday there will be land-based Casinos in Georgia. Maybe someday it will come true.

The KSA is strict about regulating the country's gambling industry. Recently, it fined an operator for a change in management. According to Dutch gambling laws, operators must inform the regulator about management changes.

oh wow. Did not realize they were that particular. But I guess its an integrity issue so they'll be strict with management level and up for operators.

Thanks to my bookie pay per head I'm working from home, and can travel anytime (let me know where to!)

@andiegirl That's what I was thinking. Regulations are strict for a reason, and if things get bad, it could have repercussions for the whole industry.

KSA's latest targets are gambling operators who broke advertising rules. News reports show three companies broke the rules by sponsoring sports events and giving out promotional shirts and other items during games.
