A couple of weeks ago, Draftkings announced that they will be implementing a surcharge on winning bets in certain states. Specifically these are states that have very steep tax rates. Was this a standard reaction or do you think this is a precautionary warning of sorts for legislators to not be too harsh when taxing gambling profits?
